How to remove fruit and juice stains from clothes
- Many fruits (eg pomegranate, strawberry) contain pigments that create difficult stains. Start removing the stain by rinsing the garment in cold water.
- Apply ESSEX or My Planet liquid laundry detergent to the stained area and rub gently with your fingers or the garment itself. Always check if the garment washes out by doing a test on an inner part of it. Alternatively, apply ROL Stains Out and leave to act for a few hours.
- Wash the garment as usual according to the instructions on the label. For extra effectiveness on white clothes add ROL White enhancer.
- Check if the stain is completely removed. If the stain remains, soak the stained area in oxygen. Before using the oxygenate, do a test on an inconspicuous area of the garment to ensure it does not discolour. Leave the garment in the oxygen for 3 minutes only and after rinsing, dry.
