How to remove red sauce stains from clothes
- Contain the stain as quickly as possible. Remove as much sauce as you can with a spoon or dab the rest with paper towels. Continue dabbing until the sauce leaves no marks on the paper.
- Apply ESSEX washing liquid directly first to an inconspicuous area of the garment to ensure it does not alter the color and then directly to the stain. Leave the detergent on for 5 minutes.
- If the stain persists, apply ROL Stains Out and let it work for a while. Alternatively, apply baking soda to the stain. Work the powder gently into the fabric with your fingers. Allow the baking soda to absorb the oil for about 30 minutes, then brush the garment.
- Wash the garment with ESSEX Multi powder or Essex laundry liquid according to the instructions on the label.
- Tumble dry, avoid tumble drying.
